The colours and forms found in nature are a constant inspiration for me. I am continually torn between the representational and abstract, the result of this is that my work features elements of each. I work intuitively across a variety of mediums, including paint, print and collage and textiles choosing whatever feels “right” for a particular piece of work.

I have a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and an MA in Museum Studies. In addition to my work as a visual artist, I have previously worked as a freelance consultant in arts development, as a museum cataloguer and an oral historian.
I am a member of Dorset Visual Arts and a Creative Lives Advisor.
